In her most recent post on social media, Britney Spears questioned the phenomenon of “upperworld crime.”

The 40-year-old singer of the song Criminal shared the definition of the phrase and a lengthy caption to her Instagram account on Friday, during which she criticised her family for her 13-year conservatorship.

She described how her family had “LOTS of power” as a result of her traumatic conservatorship and how she had to “relearn how to live her life.”

Spears said in the caption, “Ok, so maybe we’re talking about better intellectual contenders who have whatever it may be… power, money, or fame!!! I don’t think I’ve ever used this game to my advantage.

Just this year, at the age of 40, I can buy Tylenol with my own money. but seeing what people are capable of is inspiring. My estate was long owned by my family. They controlled my celebrity, my brand, and, guess what? It gave them a tonne of power, she said.

“Since it’s over, I need to RELEARN how to live my life,” I said. It’s incredibly wonderful, but because of all the regulations, my thinking used to be rather restricted. but now that it’s open, I can witness individuals doing what is described in the sentence above EVERY DAY OF MY LIFE!!! Added Spears.

The Gimme More singer said, “People are getting away with these things and IT’S OBVIOUS and not one person will say anything,” in the caption’s conclusion. Well, where is this going? I feel like I’ve been set up to be a nun for half of my life. For the love of God, can somebody out there show me how to lie at least?
