The Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s supporter Kate Moss has explained her motivations for testifying against Johnny Depp and her decision to do so.

The revelation was revealed by Moss during her most recent appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs.

She explained why she ultimately made the decision to testify in court on a claim of domestic violence and to speak out about Johnny Depp’s genuine character there.

I know the real story about Johnny, she was quoted as saying in the interview. I am confident that he never kicked me off the steps. That is a truth I had to speak.

For those who are unaware, Moss defended Johnny Depp in court when Amber Heard claimed that she had experienced domestic abuse and feared being shoved down the stairs “exactly like Kate Moss.”

She testified on camera about how Depp never “pushed, kicked, or shoved me” down any stairs when they were together.

When the court asked Moss to recall the claim, he responded, “We were leaving the room and Johnny left the room before I did and there had been a rainfall.”

As I exited the room, I slipped and bruised my back while screaming in shock at what had happened to me.

“(Depp) came sprinting back to assist me, brought me to my chamber, and procured medical care for me. I have faith in the reality of fairness and justice.
